A 3 Day Experience From The Field to the Glass

Enter Sonoma Grape Camp, a dream experience that you can incorporate right into your vacation in Sonoma Wine Country. From harvesting the fruit, to blending sessions with winemakers, to “winemaker style” dinners, you will be immersed in the wine country culture and will have the dirt under your fingernails to prove it.

Labor of Love

Rise and shine to the beautiful sunrise over the fields of vines and fruit. Take in the crisp air and morning dew and experience harvesting the grapes along side the winemakers, or producers. Each morning you will be able to taste grapes from each varietal, thus expanding your knowledge and connection to this little fruit with so much flavor. With buckets and clippers ready learn how to choose the best fruit and what to look for. You will be undoubtedly feel the rhythm of the vineyards as you are clipping and filling with your loved ones and new found friends.

Head Inside

Once you have harvested your grapes you then experience how each grape is transformed into world-class wine.  Learn how to sort fruit as heads into the de-stemming machine, mix vats of grapes in a punch down and whole grape press.   For each camper the field to glass process is magical and even transforming. You may never enjoy a glass in vino the same way.

A two-and-a-half day “immersion” into wine country, this is boot camp for food and wine lovers. From picking a cluster of grapes off the vine at sunrise to whipping up a soufflé in a cooking class at lunch, this is the ultimate food and wine experience.

 To the Table

As the day is wrapping up, you will get the chance to taste wine from the very vineyards and grapes that you just worked in. A reward and bounty for the hard work that lay under your fingernails, or the sweat that poured out your body. Each night you will also be the guest of honor in mouth watering, multi-course, winemaker style dinners that give even more insight to how the fruit you just picked is paired with meals. Rub shoulders and share stories with winemakers in each nightly celebration of the wine country. As an added incentive, campers also get daily access to private tasting rooms and to growers who are too busy with harvest and too removed to chat with visitors.
